"WINDOW OF FREEDOM" #13 FREW, KARLA (BETSY) Bio: Karla Frew is originally from England. She moved to Nova Scotia in 2009. The artist has displayed her shows at the Dart Gallery in Dartmouth. Her art style is influenced by pop culture and current events, using spray paints, acrylics, watercolours, and stencils, among others. Karla never went to art school, but created her own style of art with multiple mediums. Influencers are Banksy, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
